Credit Card Tips

Set up AUTO PAY! Auto pay will lessen the chance of you missing a payment and ensure your minimum amount due will be paid on time.

Know the difference between your Statement date and Due date. Your statement date refers to the last day of the billing cycle (typically 20-25 days before the due date).

Note: the statement date is the date where the cardholders data and account balance report to the credit bureaus so pay your balance down as much as possible to 30% or less

Your due date is the deadline to which the account should be paid to avoid any interest fees ( typically 20-25 days after the statement date).

Consumer Education

Credit repair is 100% legal. The laws are on your side to help you repair your credit. The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) gives you the right to dispute any item on your credit report. If that item cannot be verified within a reasonable time (usually 30 days) it must be removed. Even accurate negative items can often be disputed and deleted. Its times to get your credit in the Fast Lane!
